In the tunnel linking the two sections of the hotel there is a wine tasting area and a mini museum in memory of Hans Nogler. He was the father of the current owners and a ski champion from South Tyrol.

Later in life he worked in the famous Sun Valley Resort in Idaho where he taught many famous stars to ski. If you haven’t already worked it out, the hotel is named after his experience in the USA.
