Bordering Austria, it is well known for its reliable snow and higher than average sunshine hours. Although officially Italian, German is widely spoken in addition to the local language of “Ladin”. The fusion of the different cultures has created an area that has something to suit everyone: Massive ski arena with a choice of slopes for all abilities, cosy mountain huts & bars providing cappuccinos, pasta, formaggio and prosciutto, as well as Glühwein, Spätzle, Wurstl and Speck.
